(Passage) On a hot summer day, Ananya took some ice-cubes from the freezer and put them in a glass. After a few minutes she saw that the ice cubes had started melting into water. Later she kept the glass in sunlight and noticed tiny bubbles rising in the water. Soon steam began to appear and the water level went down. Her teacher explained this was because of the three states of matter.
